How to Make Pasta At Home?

Do you like to eat pasta? It is good news because it is easy to make pasta at home by you yourself. Instead of buying pasta outside daily, you can try to make pasta in your kitchen. It is very simple because you just need flour, egg, and butter. Firstly, melting 1 tablespoon of butter and afterwards, mix it with flour and egg. The comparison is 1 : 1. If you use 100 gram flour, you can add 1 egg. And if you use 300 gram flour, you can add 3 eggs.
All of the dough is mixed by hand until the dough united. Then, let the dough free for about 1 hour and wrapped by plastic. After 1 hour, you can roll the dough by wood roller until you get desirable thickness.
After that, the dough is cut by particular cutter for portable pasta maker. This tool can be found in the kitchen store. By using this tool, you can make variety of pasta, started from lasagna, pappardelle, ravioli, tagliatelle.
After you understand to make pasta, you can continue to make variety of pasta Bolognese, such as lasagna Bolognese or spaghetti Bolognese. This food is familiar in the world. You can make traditional sauce of Bolognese by mixing meat, pancetta, onion, carrot, celery, tomato sauce, broth, white wine, milk, and cream.
Nowadays, people use butter and olive oil at the same time to cook soffritto which it contains, celery, carrot, and onion. You also can add Prosciutto mushroom, mortadella or fresh porcini into the sauce. If you do not want to add wine or pork, it is all right because the taste still delicious.
If you want to make different style of pasta, you can use chopped meat for your lasagna. Firstly, roast the meat with olive oil by fry pan. Then add salt and white pepper to empower the taste. By using different fry pan, cook garlic, celery and carrot and 2 onions, with medium flame for 3 minutes. If you do not want to add wine, you can pour the broth of chopped meat. Then add blended tomato with salt. Then, cook for about 30 minutes. Pour rosemary into the fry pan but do not add too much because the taste will be bitter.
