Ingredients:
  1. Tempe, 500 gram
  2. White tofu, 100 gram
  3. Minced chicken, 100 gram
  4. Garlic, 3 (chopped)
  5. Celery, 1 stalk (chopped finely)
  6. Eggs, 2
  7. Hot chili pepper, 6 (crused)
  8. Salt, ¾ teaspoon
  9. Sugar, ½ teaspoon
  10. Oil, 500 ml
Seasonings for sauce steak tempe
  1. Onion, 1 (chopped)
  2. Flour, 1 tablespoon
  3. Boiled water, 150 ml
  4. White pepper, 1 tablespoon
  5. Sweet soy sauce, 1 tablespoon
  6. Tomato sauce, 1 tablespoon
  7. Sugar, 1 teaspoon
Directions to make steak tempe
  1. Crush tempe and tofu until soft. Then add minced chicken, celery, garlic, salt, sugar, and hot chili pepper.
  2. Stir the dough and after that add egg. Stir it back. Shape the dough of steak tempe to be oval or square.
  3. After that, fry in the hot oil until the color changing become brown.

  1. Fry onion and flour in the cooking pan.

Ingredients:
  1. Sweet corn, 300 gram
  2. Green paprika, 1 (chopped elongated)
  3. Basil, 1 handful
  4. Fried dry shrimp, 50 gram
Seasonings:
  1. Garlic, 2 (chopped)
  2. Red shallot, 3 (chopped)
  3. White pepper, ½ teaspoon
  4. Red hot chili pepper, 2 (chopped) *optional
  5. Sugar, ½ teaspoon
  6. Oyster sauce, 1 teaspoon
  7. Oil, 2 tablespoon
  8. Water, 10 ml
Directions:
  1. Prepare cooking pan and heat the oil. Fry red shallot and garlic. Stir it.
  2. Add green paprika, sweet corn and other seasoning then stir it for a while.
  3. Afterwards, add water, basil and fried dry shrimp. Mix all of ingredient and cook it until done.

Besides it is easy to make steak tofu, making this dish also cheaper than making beef steak. And in addition, the taste of its steak tofu is so unique because the deliciously of steak tofu is come from the seasoning. And here is the step how to make steak tofu with vegetables salad.

Ingredients to make steak tofu
  1. Good quality of white tofu, 200 gram (minced)
  2. Breast chicken fillet, 50 gram (minced)
  3. Flour, 3 tablespoons
  4. Sago flour, ½ tablespoon
  5. Egg, 3
  6. Garlic powder, ½ teaspoon
  7. Salt, ½ teaspoon
  8. White pepper, ¼ teaspoon
  9. Sugar, ¼ teaspoon
  10. Oil, 500 ml
Ingredients for vegetables salad
  1. Purple cabbage, 100 gram (chopped finely)
  2. Lettuce, 3 sheets (chopped finely)
  3. Tomato cherry, 4 (chopped quartered)
  4. Olive oil, 1 tablespoon
  5. Lemon juice, 1 tablespoon
  6. White pepper, ¼ teaspoon
Directions to make steak tofu
  1. Mix all of ingredients of how to make steak tofu and stir it well until united.
  2. Shape the dough of steak tofu to be round and then flat it.
  3. Prepare oil and heat it.
  4. Fry steak tofu with hot oil until the color changing becomes brown color.
  5. Remove it and set aside.

  2. Stir it well until all of vegetables united.
Preparations:

  6. Oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon
  7. Oil, 2 tablespoon
Direction to cook bean
  1. Heat the oil in the cooking pan. Fry garlic and red shallot.
  2. After that, add the chopped bean. Stir it well.
  3. Add brown sugar, salt, and oyster sauce.
  4. Cook the bean until done or as you desired.

  5. Red shallot, 2 (chopped)
  6. Salt, 1 teaspoon
  7. Brown sugar, 1 teaspoon
  8. White pepper, ½ teaspoon
  9. Red hot chili pepper, 4 (chopped)
  10. Terasi, 1 block or 1 x 2 cm (terasi is a condiment made from pounded and fermented shrimp or small fish which it one of Indonesian seasoning) *optional
  11. Oil, 2 tablespoons
  12. Water, 20 ml
Direction to make young papaya with long bean
  1. Prepare cooking pan, then heat the oil. Sauté chopped terasi, garlic and red shallot.
  2. Afterwards, add carrot. Stir it well for about 2 minutes.
  3. Add grated young papaya and chopped long bean.
  4. Add salt, brown sugar, white pepper, and water. Then stir it well.
  5. Cook young papaya with long bean until cooked. Afterwards, remove and put into a plate.
  6. Hot young papaya with long bean is ready.

Seasonings:
  1. Garlic, 4 (chopped)
  2. Salt, 1 teaspoon
  3. Sugar, 1 teaspoon
  4. Oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon
  5. Oil, 2 tablespoons
Direction to make colorful vegetables:
  1. Sautéing garlic for a while and after that, add all of vegetables. And stir it well.
  2. Add red and green paprika then stir it back
  3. Then, add sugar, salt, and oyster sauce.
  4. Stir it back and remove the colorful vegetable after cooked.
  5. The colorful vegetables are ready.

Making Dry Vegetables Soup

I call this recipe as dry vegetable soup because the ingredients to make this dish are same like to make a soup and you can add vegetables as you like to make it. Very simple ingredient you need to make dry vegetable soup. As we know, soup has broth but in this recipe you will have very thick broth and even almost dry so that the taste will be very strong and delicious. Here is the recipe how to make dry vegetable soup.

Ingredients:
  1. Cabbage, 100 gram (finely chopped)
  2. Cauliflower, 200 gram (chopped)
  3. Carrot, 100 gram (chopped)
  4. Green mustard, 200 gram (finely chopped)
  5. Tomato, 1 (finely chopped)
  6. Leeks, 2 rods (finely chopped)
  7. Celery, 3 rods (finely chopped)
  8. Water, 50 ml
  9. Oil, 2 tablespoons
Seasonings:
  1. White pepper, ½ teaspoon
  2. Salt, ½ teaspoon
  3. Sugar, ¼ teaspoon
  4. Garlic, 2 (blended)
  5. Red shallot, 3 (chopped)
Direction how to make dry vegetables soup:
  1. Heat the oil in the cooking pan. Fry garlic and red shallow for a while.
  2. Cook carrot and stir it well for about 2 minutes.
  3. Add chopped cauliflower and cook for about 3 minutes. Pour the water into cooking pan.
  4. Add the salt, sugar, white pepper and stir it back.
  5. Add green mustard, leeks, celery, cabbage, tomato. Mix all of vegetable until the broth thick.
  6. Dry vegetables soup is ready.

Healthy Vegetables Dish : How To Make Gado-Gado

This time, I am going to share about how to make healthy vegetable dish for you. In Indonesia, it called as gado-gado. I said it is healthy dish because gado-gado uses green vegetables like spinach, long bean, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, cabbage, sprout with peanut sauce. 
The taste of gado-gado is unique and fresh because it comes from orange leaf and terasi. Terasi is one of secret ingredient that Indonesian people use when they cook in the kitchen. It made from dried shrimp and it has specific taste, besides that terasi can mash your vegetables. Here is the recipe how to make gado-gado.

Ingredients:
  1. Lontong (food consisting of rice steamed in a banana leaf), 1
  2. Long beans, 50 gram (chopped 4 cm and boiled)
  3. Cabbage, 50 gram (finely chopped and boiled)
  4. Lettuce, 4 sheets
  5. Spout, 50 gram
  6. Young cucumber, 50 gram
  7. Fried tempe, 1 (quartered)
  8. Fried tofu, 1 (quartered)
  9. Boiled potato, 1 (quartered)
  10. Boiled egg, 1 (chopped into 6)
  11. Chips, (as you desired)

Peanut sauce ingredients:
  1. Fried peanuts, 30 gram
  2. Coconut milk, 250 cc
  3. Orange leaf, 1
  4. Red hot chili pepper, 3 (chopped and sauted)
  5. Fried red shallot, ½ tablespoon
  6. Fried garlic, 1 tablespoon
  7. Tamarind water, ½ tablespoon
  8. Salt, little bit
  9. Brown sugar, ½ tablespoon
  10. Terasi, ½ teaspoon
  11. Bay leaf, 1

Direction to make gado-gado
  1. Peanut sauce :Blend or pound fried peanut, red shallot, galic, terasi and red hot chili pepper.
  2. Put the peanut sauce ingredients and blended of fried peanuts into sauce pan. Boil it and stir it well until the oil from coconut milk come out. Remove from the flame.
  3. Preparation: put lontong, all vegetables, tofu, tempe, potato, and egg on the plate. Pour the peanut sauce onto plate and add chips.
  4. Gado-gado is ready.

Tips:
Do not boil the vegetables too long so that you can taste the texture of those vegetables.

Because I like to cook simple vegetables, I will introduce you how to cook young corn with sprout. It is super easy to make it. Even, you can find the ingredients anywhere. The taste of young corn is sweet so you do not need to add more sugar, just little bit. And if you are vegetarian, you can try to cook it. It is a healthy food because it contains tomato, carrot and sprout which it rich of vitamin A and protein. Here is the recipe how to cook young corn with sprout.

Ingredients:
  1. Young corn, 200 gram
  2. Sprout, 100 gram
  3. Tomato, 1 (sliced small)
  4. Carrot, 1 (chopped as you desired)
  5. Leeks, 1 rod (slice it 2 cm)

Sliced seasoning
  1. Onion, 2
  2. Garlic, 2
  3. Salt, ½ teaspoon
  4. Sugar, ½ teaspoon
  5. White pepper, ¼ teaspoon
  6. Soy sauce, 1 tablespoon
  7. Oil, 2 tablespoon

How to make it:
  1. Heat the cooking pain and oil. Fry onion and garlic for a while. Put slice of carrot.
  2. Add young corn into cooking pan and cook it for about 3 minutes. Add the rest of seasoning. And stir it well.
  3. Add tomato, leeks and sprout into cooking pan and stir it back. Cook the vegetables for about 2 minutes.
  4. Young corn with sprout is ready.

It is very easy to cook this dish. I usually cook it when I do not have so much time to cook. Here is the recipe how to make colorful spinach meatball with tofu.

Ingredients:
  1. Spinach, 250 gram
  2. Meatball, 10 (quartered)
  3. Carrot, 100 gram (chopped elongated)
  4. Tomato, 1 (chopped into 8 parts)
  5. Tofu, 3 (chopped as you desired)
  6. Oil, 2 tablespoons
Chopped Seasoning
  1. Onion, 2
  2. Garlic, 2
  3. Salt, ½ teaspoon
  4. Sugar, ½ teaspoon
  5. White pepper, ¼ teaspoon
  6. Oyster sauce, ½ teaspoon
How to make it:
  1. Heat the cooking pan with oil. Sauté the chopped seasoning and then add the carrot and tomato. Cook it for about 2 minutes.
  2. Put spinach, meatball and tofu into cooking pan. Add sugar, salt, and white pepper. Stir it well.
  3. Cook the vegetables until done.

Yellow tofu is one of version of tofu. Actually, yellow tofu can be made from white tofu that continued by adding dye. The key to make yellow color comes from turmeric. As source of natural yellow color, turmeric has many benefits for health, such as for arthristis-rheumatodi, osteo-arthristis because it contains active substance natrium deklofenak, piroksikam, and fenil butason. Besides that, turmeric also has medical benefits such as to stop bleeding, prevent blood clotting, curing itching, and turmeric also can be used for food seasoning.

Ingredients:
  1. White tofu, 8 chunks of tofu
 Blended seasoning:
  1. Turmeric, 50 gram
  2. Salt, ½ teaspoon
  3. White pepper, ½ teaspoon
  4. Water, 1 L
 How to cook yellow tofu:
  1. Boil water in the cooking pan, then add the blended seasoning.
  2. Put the white tofu into cooking pan. And cooking for about 10 – 15.
  3. Turn the white tofu side by side so that the color of yellow tofu will be spread evenly.
  4. Cook the tofu until you get yellow color as you desired.
  5. Lift the tofu after done and strain it.
  6. Yellow tofu is ready to be processed.

How to Make Crispy Tofu?

There are many ways to cook tofu. As long as you are creative and know very well what your family member likes, it will not difficult to find idea about how to make a new creation of tofu. To make crispy tofu is very simple and easy. Try this recipe below if you want to taste new recipe of tofu.

Ingredients:
  1. White big tofu, choose good quality of tofu and then slice the tofu 5 cm x 3 cm x 2 cm)
  2. Eggs, 2
  3. Flour, 200 gram
  4. Bread flour, 200 gram
  5. Salt, ½ teaspoon.
  6. Onions, 4

How to make crispy tofu
  1. Soak the tofu into the seasoning (blend ¼ teaspoon salt and 2 onions and then pour little bit of water).
  2. Mix the egg with 2 onions and ¼ teaspoon of salt.
  3. Roll the tofu which have seasoned with ingredients into flour and then let it free.
  4. Soak the tofu which have rolled into flour into the egg. Afterward, lift it and roll it again into the bread flour. For the best result you can do this step once again.
  5. Fry the tofu in the hot pain and wait until you get golden color.
  6. Lift the crispy tofu.
  7. You can eat crispy tofu by hot chili pepper or by tomato sauce.

How to Make Tofu?

Tofu
Do you ever hear about tofu? Yes, tofu is well know as food that contains high proteins because tofu is made from yellow soybean and rich of phyto-protein. Protein is very good for body's growth, particularly for kid during their growth period.
If you want to make tofu by yourself, it is possible because it is easy. Just follow the procedures and eventually, you can eat tofu that made by yourself.

How to make tofu?
Ingredients:
1. Soybean, 5 kg
2. CaSO4, 1 gram or 4 ml vinegar

Procedures:
1.   Wash the soybean until clean from dirt.
2.  Soak the soybean in the water. For good soybean, you can soak for 4 - 5 hours, and for medium or worse you can soak for 10 hours.
3.  Clean back the soybean with clean water 2 - 3 times.
4.  Drain the soybean. Then, soybean is ready to be grind.
5.  In order to make grinding process easy and give good result, add water when you grind the soybean. You can user grinder, blender, or juicer.
6.  Boil the porridge of soybean on hot fire for about 15 - 20 minutes.
7.  Foam will come out when the porridge of soybean boiled. Remove the foam when it comes out and let the porridge of soybean boiled for 10 hours.
8.  Lift the porridge of soybean from hot fire. Afterward, remove and strain it using gauze. Rinse the dregs of porridge soybean by clean water.
9.  Squeeze the porridge of soybean from gauze until you get the extract of soybean as much as possible.
10. Afterwards, clod the extract of soybean by adding liquid 5 ml vinegar with 1 L extract of tofu (4ml vinegar : 1 L extract of tofu) and keep stir the dough of tofu.
11.  After hushing the extract of tofu, it will come little big hank of tofu and it will come down.
12.  Remove the water on the sediment of tofu as much as possible.
13.  Mold the tofu by using load on the tofu.
14.  After 10 to 15 minutes, you will get the tofu that made by yourself.

Tips
1.  You can buy equipment to grind the soybean in the machine store.
2.  In order to get good tofu, you can load it by using stone.
3.  Vinegar can be bought in the chemical store.

How to Make Tempe?


Tempe
Tempe is one of nutritious and cheap food that you can eat anywhere. Even, most of Indonesian people, no matter their status they like tempe because tempe is popular food and it can be served with various recipes. For vegetarian, tempe also can be chosen for their daily food because tempe contains high protein that made from soybean.
Before we start making tempe, we must know what ingredients that are used to make it. The main ingredients are soybean and tempe yeast. In order to get delicious tempe, you are supposed to take high quality of soybean and do all of the procedures cleanly.

How to make tempe?
Ingredients:
1. Soybean, 1/2 kg
2. Tempe yeast, 1/4 table spoon
3. Tapioca flour, 1/4 table spoon

Procedures:
1.  Wash the soybean until clean.Pour water into cooking pan.
2.  After boiled, pour the soybean into the boiled water for 10 minutes.
3.  Lift the cooking pan and keep soybean until the water warm in the cooking pan.
4.  Afterward, soak the soybean for 8 – 10 hours. This soaking has purpose to lower soybean’s acidity degree.
5.  After 8 – 10 hours, lift the soybean from the soybean and remove the skin of soybean until clean.
6.  Boil the soybean until the water releasing foam.
7. Lift the cooking pot and throw the left water inside until dry. Put it into container so that no water left in order to make soybean dry faster.
8.  After the soybean dry, replace it into a bowl. Pour tempe yeast and tapioca flour into the bowl. Stir the dough in order to unite.
9.  Take the dough of tempe into plastic and close the plastic tightly.
10  Stick the plastic by pin around 8 times to give air circulation
11. Store tempe in a warm place, or cover it with cloth or towel until 36 hours.
12. Tempe ready to be cooked.
