How to Make Pomegranate Juice

Pomegranate is very healthy juice because pomegranate has benefit to heal heart. Besides that, pomegranate is also rich in antioxidant so that it will help to prevent heart’s problem and reduce cholesterol. It is so easy to consume pomegranate and if you want fresh juice, you can make pomegranate juice at home. Here is the recipe.

Ingredients:
  1. Pomegranate fruit, 150 gram
  2. Sugar, 1 tablespoon
  3. Lime juice, 1 tablespoon
  4. Water, 350 ml
Direction to make pomegranate juice
  1. Clean and wash the pomegranate fruit and cut into two part. Rid the seed and then crush and filter it with gauze. Set aside the seed and dregs.
  2. Enter all ingredients (except lime juice) into blender.
  3. Blend the mixture until united.
  4. Serve it in the glass and add lime juice.
  5. Pomegranate juice is ready.

Ginger tea
Ginger tea is one of healthy drinking. Ginger is good to heal a cold and influenza. Beside it has benefit to warm the body, ginger also has antivirus compound. And here is the way how to make ginger tea.
Ingredients:
  1. Green tea or black tea powder, 2 teaspoon
  2. Ginger, 2 cm (sliced)
  3. Water, 300 ml
  4. Sugar, 1 tablespoon *optional
Direction to make ginger tea
  1. Boil the water with slice of ginger.
  2. Then add tea powder and sugar. Then, filter it.

  1. Fresh strawberry, 250 gram (chopped)
  2. Sweetened condensed milk, 5 tablespoons
  3. Sugar, 1 tablespoon

Making strawberry juice is very easy. Besides strawberry has sour taste, strawberry is also contains high vitamin A, C, B, calcium, phosphate, and magnesium which it very good for your body. Strawberry is a good antioxidant so that it will be able to prevent the growth of cancer’s cell in the body.
Strawberry has low fat but it has high fiber. In order to get the benefit of strawberry for our body, you can make it strawberry juice. It is very simple to make it. And here is the step to make strawberry juice.

Ingredients:
  1. Strawberry, 500 gram (washed and rid the leaf of strawberry, set aside)
  2. Lemon juice from 1 lemon
  3. Drinking water, 400 ml
  4. Ice cube, 50 gram *optional
  5. Sugar, 50 gram or honey, 5 tablespoons
  6. Salt, 1 teaspoon
Direction to make strawberry juice
  1. Prepare blender. Put the strawberry, lemon juice, water, ice cube, sugar, and salt into blender.
  2. Blend the mixture of strawberry for about 30 seconds.
  3. Prepare a glass. Pour strawberry juice into the glass.
  4. Strawberry juice is ready.
Tips:
  • If you like softer texture, you can blend the strawberry mixture for about 1 minute or more.
  • Drink strawberry juice directly after you make it to keep the freshness.

  1. Jackfruit, 50 gram (rid the seed and then chopped)
  2. Young coconut, 50 gram (peel the meat of young coconut from coconut shell)
  3. Avocado, 100 gram (chopped)
  4. White bread, 100 gram (chopped squared 1 x 1 x 1 cm)
  5. Syrup, 10 ml
  6. Brown sugar liquid, 10 ml
  7. Sweetened condensed milk, 5 ml
  8. Ice cube, 100 gram (grated)
  9. Coconut milk, 10 ml

  1. Prepare a glass to make this colorful drinking.

  3. Sweetened condensed milk, 150 ml

Direction to make mung bean juice
  1. Boil the water in the sauce pan and then boil the mung beans.
  2. Cook the mung bean until soft and cooked.
  3. After that, pour the cooked mung bean and the water into blender.
  4. Blend the mung bean with sweetened condensed milk, and ice block.
  5. Blend mung bean until smooth. Then pour mung bean juice into a glass.
  6. Mung bean juice is ready.
Tips:
If you do not like sweetened condensed milk, you can add 5 tablespoons of honey.

  1. Carrot, 200 gram (peeled and chopped)
  2. Lime water, 2 tablespoons
  3. Honey, 1 tablespoon

Tomato is one of fruit that popular to be processed become juice. Tomato is rich with vitamin A and C to increase immunity. Besides that, tomato is usually used for culinary ingredient such as for soup, pasta, and many more. The taste of tomato is little bit sour and it can stimulate appetite.
There are two colors of tomato, red and green. The difference of color shows the content of vitamin. But, you better consume red tomato than green because red tomato content high vitamin C and A 5 times than green tomato. Red color in the tomato content lycopene which it good as antioxidant to destroy free radical in the body because of cigarette, pollution, and UV ray.
According to those benefits, it is good to consume tomato juice so that we can get natural vitamin A and C. And here is the recipe how to make fresh tomato juice.

Ingredients:
  1. Big tomato, 2 (washed)
  2. Lemon juice, 1 tablespoon
  3. Celery, 1 rod (chopped)
  4. Boiled Water, 150 ml
  5. Hot water, 400 ml
  6. Honey, 2 tablespoon *optional
  7. Ice, 50 gram *optional
How to make tomato juice:
  1. Prepare a bowl and put the tomato in there.
  2. Pour hot water into the bowl and soak the tomato for about 2 minutes until the skin released so that it will be easier to get rid its skin.
  3. Chop the tomato and set aside.
  4. Blend the chopped tomato, celery, lemon juice, ice, honey, and water in the blender until soft.
  5. Filter the tomato juice in pour it into a glass.
  6. Tomato juice is ready.
Tips:
  1. If you do not like sweet taste of tomato juice, you do not need to add honey.
  2. Add ice if you want to drink tomato juice directly, but if not you do not need to add ice. Just keep it in the refrigerator.
  3. Choose the ripe tomato so that the taste not too sour.

How to Make Plain Soy Milk

Soy milk is one of drinking that you can consume if you do not like cow’s milk. Because some people have allergy to cow’s milk, soy milk become alternative drinking. In general, soy milk contents vitamin B, niacin, vitamin E and vitamin K. Besides that, soy milk also rich protein and it is good for kid growth. Or, if you are vegetarian and want to get healthy drinking, soy milk will be good for you to support protein need. Here is the recipe how to make soy milk.

Ingredients:
  1. Soy beans, 500 gram (washed)
  2. Warm water, 2½ L
How to make soy milk:
  1. Soak the soy beans in the water for about 10 – 12 hours.
  2. After the soy bean soft, remove it and strained.
  3. By your hands, release the skin of soy bean. Then wash it back.
  4. Put the soy bean into a basin and then pour hot water. Soak the soy bean for about 10 minutes.
  5. After the aroma of soy bean gone, throw the water.
  6. Blend the soy bean in the blender. And add 2,5L warm water. Let it cool.
  7. Filter the soybean using gauze then squeeze the gauze so that the dregs and soy water separated.
  8. Boil the soy bean with small flame. And stir it until boiled.
  9. Pour the soy milk into a bottle and let it cool.
  10. After the soy milk cool, you can keep it in the refrigerator.
  11. Plain soy milk is ready to be processed become vanilla soy milk, chocolate soy milk, or as you desired.

Cereal drinking is a drinking that content seeds such as wheat, rice, oat, rye, corn, and barley. Usually cereal drinking only uses one those kinds of seed but sometime cereal drinking can be made from the mixture of those seeds to complete the value of nutrition. Cereal drinking has been developing from breakfast cereal like porridge to be breakfast dish that can be eaten faster and practical.
Currently in the market, you can find variety of cereal drinking that explained their product as a healthy drinking but when you look deeper, those products still using cereal which it has high glycemic index such as essence of corn, rice, wheat or other dregs of other snack’s products, preservative, simple carbohydrate, and many more. According to this condition, you can make your own a healthy cereal drinking at home so that it will be safer for you and your family member. And here is the recipe how to make cereal drinking.

Ingredients:
  1. Instant oatmeal, 50 gram
  2. Boiled water, 375 ml
  3. Cinnamon, 10 cm
  4. Sugar low calorie, 10 gram
  5. Almond, 25 gram
  6. Whey protein, 4 tablespoons
  7. Cinnamon powder, 1 teaspoon
Direction to make a healthy cereal drinking:
  1. Soak the oatmeal and cinnamon in the boiled water for about 1 hour. Then set aside the cinnamon.
  2. Put the oatmeal into blender together with water. Add sugar, whey protein, almond, and cinnamon powder. Blend until smooth.

How to Make Ice Lemon Tea until the Last Drop

Making ice lemon tea in the hot season is a perfect choice because the taste is delicious and fresh. You can make ice lemon tea at home because it is very easy to make it. And here is the step how to make ice lemon tea.

Ingredients:
  1. Plain tea bag, 3
  2. Boiled water, 500 ml
  3. Sugar, 250 gram
  4. Lemon, 3 (squeeze 2 lemons then separate from the seed and slice 1 lemon crosswise thinly)
  5. Ice water, as you desired
  6. Mint leaf
Direction to make ice lemon tea:
  1. Prepare a kettle to make ice lemon tea. Put the plain tea bag in the boiled water until dark.
  2. Add sugar and stir it well. Let the heat down slowly.
  3. Pour the lemon juice into kettle and stir it back. You can add sliced lemon in it.
  4. Prepare a glass and add ice water. Pour the lemon tea and give it mint leaf.
  5. Ice lemon tea is ready.
Tips:
If you want to taste ice lemon tea until the last drop, you can make ice water from lemon juice. Just take 100 ml from the kettle above, included lemon juice and sugar.  Then, put in the freezer. And when you want to make ice lemon tea, you can use this ice to make it. This make you can taste delicious and fresh ice lemon tea until the last drop.

Soursop juice has unique taste. That is because soursop has sour taste and sweet. And when you make soursop juice freshly, the taste of soursop is so original and delicious. You can make it at home. For some people who never make soursop juice maybe it is annoying because you will find the seed of soursop which it is impossible to be blended.
Here is the recipe how to make soursop juice and how to remove the seed. Firstly, remove the fruit from the skin of soursop. Get rid the seed by small fork and spoon. Then, set aside the fruit of soursop. And now, let’s start making soursop juice.

  1. Soursop fruit (without seed), 300 gram
  2. Watermelon, 200 gram (finely chopped)

Sweet corn and milk is one of my new creations. I made this when I did not know what I must do with my sweet corn. Eventually, I had idea to make sweet corn with milk and coconut milk. The taste of this drinking is sweet and unique. It comes from sweet milk, and the taste of deliciousness comes from coconut milk.  Even, you can make it less than 10 minutes. Here is the recipe how to make a glass of sweet corn with milk.

Ingredients:
  1. Sweet corn, 150 gram
  2. Coconut milk, 200 ml
  3. Sachet of chocolate milk, 1
  4. Salt, little bit
Directions:
  1. Prepare sauce pan and pour all of the ingredients.
  2. Cook it until boiled.
  3. Sweet corn with milk is ready.

Jamu kunir asem or turmeric and tamarind herb is one of popular traditional herb in Java, Indonesia. Turmeric and tamarind herb has benefit to refresh the body, avoiding from dizzy, sprue, make your stomach calm, and smoothen menstruation. The main ingredient to make turmeric and tamarind herb are tamarind, turmeric, and palm sugar. You also can add lime water and little bit salt into turmeric and tamarind herb. Here is the recipe how to make turmeric and tamarind herb.

Ingredients:
  1. Tamarind, 150 gram
  2. Turmeric, 460 gram (roasted and then pounded)
  3. Palm sugar, 300 gram
  4. Sugar, 3 tablespoons
  5. Salt, 1 tablespoon
  6. Water, 2 L
How to make turmeric and tamarind herb:
  1. Boil all of ingredients and water until boiled. Stir it well.
  2. You can boil this herb for about 30 minutes or until you get 1 L tamarind and turmeric herb.
  3. After boiled, remove it and then strained.
  4. Turmeric and tamarind herb is ready. But it will be more delicious if you keep it in the refrigerator. And you can drink this herb while it is still cool.
