Soup is one of dish that easy to be made at home. Besides that, it will be more delicious if you eat it when the soup still hot. And this recipe, we will make a recipe about how to make chicken soup with tofu.

Ingredients:
  1. Chicken meat, 250 gram (chopped dice, then set aside the bone of chicken to make broth)
  2. Tofu, 3 blocks (chopped dice)
  3. Carrot, 2 rods (chopped round)
  4. Scallions, 2 stalks (chopped 2 cm)
  5. Young corn, 150 gram
  6. Cabbage, 100 gram (chopped)
Seasonings:
  1. Garlic, 2 (mashed)
  2. White pepper, ½ teaspoon
  3. Salt, 1 teaspoon
  4. Water, 1.5 L
Directions to make chicken soup with tofu
  1. Prepare sauce pan and boil water.
  2. Add chicken meat and the bone to make chicken broth.
  3. After boil, seasoning with garlic, white pepper, and salt.
  4. Add carrot and scallions into sauce pan stir it. Let it boiled again
  5. Then, add cabbage, tofu, and young corn. Stir it again and cook until done.
  6. Remove it from the stove.
  7. Chicken soup with tofu is ready.

Ingredients:
  1. Chicken meat, ¼ kg (chopped dice)
  2. Cauliflower, 200 gram
  3. Young corn, 100 gram
  4. Carrot, 1 stick (chopped round)
  5. Scallions, 2 stalks (chopped diagonally)
  6. Celery, 2 stalks (chopped finely)
  7. Water, 1.5 L
Seasonings:
  1. Garlic, 3 (crushed)
  2. Salt, 1 teaspoon
  3. White pepper, ½ teaspoon

  1. Boil water and then add chicken meat until boiled. Then, season with salt, white pepper, and garlic.

Ingredients:
  1. Snapper fish, 500 gram (cleaned)
  2. Scallions, 1 stalk (chopped diagonally)
  3. Green tomato, 3 (chopped quartered)
  4. Hot chili pepper, 3 *optional
  5. Ginger, 2 cm (sliced like matches)
  6. Red shallot, 7 (sliced)
  7. Garlic, 4 (sliced)
  8. Fish sauce, 2 tablespoons
  9. Lime juice, 2 teaspoon
  10. Fish broth, 1.5 L
  11. Salt, 1 teaspoon
  12. Sugar, ½ teaspoon
  13. Orange leaf, 3
  14. Basil, ¼ handful
Directions to make fish soup
  1. Chop snapper fish as you desired.
  2. Boil fish broth, ginger, garlic, red shallot, orange leaf, and tomato until boiled.
  3. Add chopped fish and cook it until the color of fish changing.
  4. Then, you can season with salt, sugar, fish sauce, lime juice, and hot chili pepper.
  5. Add scallions and basil. Cook until boiled
  6. Fish soup is ready.

How to Make Chicken Broth Easily

Chicken broth is one of basic ingredient to make soup or other dishes so that it will create nice taste of your cooking. Everyone can make delicious chicken broth as long as they know the name of ingredients in the kitchen. And here is the simple way to make chicken broth.

Ingredients:
  1. Chicken meat, ½ kg
Seasonings:
  1. Red shallot, 3 (chopped finely)
  2. Garlic, 2 (crushed)
  3. Salt, 1 teaspoon
  4. Sugar, ½ teaspoon
  5. Nutmeg powder, ½ teaspoon
  6. White pepper, ½ teaspoon
  7. Oil, 1 tablespoon
  8. Water, 1.5 L
Direction to make delicious chicken broth
  1. Fry red shallot and set aside.
  2. Boil water in the sauce pan.
  3. After the water boiled, add chicken.
  4. Throw the bubble so that the broth of chicken will be clearer.
  5. After boiled, add salt, sugar, white pepper, nutmeg powder, and fried red shallot.
  6. Stir it well and boil it again.
  7. After done, remove the chicken.
  8. Chicken broth is ready to be used to other recipes.

How to Make Soup Tom Yam

Soup tom yam is a soup from Thailand and this is one of popular soup in Thailand. The main ingredients from soup tom yam are shrimp, chicken, fish, mushroom, and other sea food. And eating warm soup is a perfect choice in the rainy season. The taste if soup tom yam is sour and spicy. Because there are some people still curious to make soup tom yam, here is the recipe how to make it.

Ingredients:
  1. Shrimp, 250 gram (cleaned)
  2. Squid, 250 gram (finely chopped)
  3. Tofu, 2 (finely chopped)
  4. Mushroom, 50 gram
  5. Mussels, 100 gram
  6. Tomato, 1 (chopped)
  7. Lemongrass, 3 (crushed)
  8. Ginger plant, 3 cm (crushed)
  9. Orange leaf, 2
  10. Celery, 2 rods (chopped)
  11. Red hot chili pepper, 2 (chopped)
  12. Green hot chili pepper, 2 (chopped)
  13. Water, 500 cc
  14. Block of chicken broth, ½ teaspoon
  15. Salt, 1 teaspoon
  16. Sugar, 2 teaspoons
  17. Lime juice, 1 tablespoon
  18. Spicy sauce, 1 teaspoon
  19. Salty soy sauce, 1 teaspoon

Directions:
  1. Boil water with block of chicken broth, salty soy sauce, spicy sauce, sugar, orange leaf, ginger plant, and lemon grass until boiled.
  2. Reduce the heat and cook it for 20 minutes. Filter the broth and cook it back.
  3. Add squid, shrimp until done.
  4. Add tofu, mushroom, mussels, red hot chili pepper, green hot chili pepper, lime juice.
  5. Cook soup tom yam for a while. And remove from the flame
  6. Hot soup tom yam is ready.

Tips:
If you creamy soup tom yam, you can add 200 ml milk into the broth.

Beef Brisket Noodle Soup

Beef brisket noodle soup

Beef brisket noodle soup has delicious taste because it rich with condiment. It is also tasty with special broth that has light flavor. You can eat beef brisket noodle soup with rice or with chips. Here is the recipe how to make beef brisket noodle soup.

Ingredients:
  1. Beef brisket, 500 gram
  2. Foot of cow (kikil, Indonesian name), 250 gram (boiled until soft then finely chopped) *optional
  3. Noodle, 250 gram (poured hot water, then strained)
  4. Thin rice noodle, 250 gram (poured hot water, then strained)
  5. Water, 2 L
  6. Cabbage, 250 gram (sliced thin)
  7. Orange leaf, 8
  8. Bay leaf, 3
  9. Lemongrass, 2
  10. Tomato, 4 (finely chopped)
  11. Oil, 3 tablespoons
Pounded seasonings:
  1. Red shallot, 10
  2. Garlic, 8
  3. Salt, 1 teaspoon
  4. Candlenut, 6
  5. White pepper, 1 teaspoon
  6. Dried shrimp, 1 teaspoon
Complements:
  1. Leeks, 1 rod (finely chopped)
  2. Celery, 1 rod (finely chopped)
  3. Fried red shallot
  4. Spicy dish
  5. Sweet soy sauce
  6. Eggroll
  7. Lime, sliced

Directions:
  1. Boil beef brisket and 1 tablespoon salt and little bit of white pepper in the closed sauce pan until soft.
  2. Afterwards, remove the beef brisket, then chopped 2 x 2 x cm. Set aside.
  3. Filter the broth of beef brisket then put in the sauce pan.
  4. Sauté the ingredients in the frying pan. Put bay leaf, lemongrass, and orange leaf into frying pan.
  5. After done, pour the ingredient into the broth of beef brisket in the sauce pan.
  6. Add the beef brisket and chopped foot of cow into sauce pan.
  7. Cook the broth of ingredient and beef brisket in the medium flame for about 20 minutes until boiled. Then, remove and set aside.
  8. Preparation of beef brisket noodle soup : Put noodle and thin rice noodle into a bowl. Add slice of cabbage, tomato, slice of beef brisket and foot of cow. Pour the broth of beef brisket. Sprinkle with slice of leeks, celery, and fried red shallot.
  9. You can eat beef brisket noodle soup with chips, sweet soy sauce, slice of lime, and spicy dish.

Madura Meat Soup from Indonesia: How To Make Meat Soup

Actually, there are many versions of meat soup from Indonesia. But now, I am going to share one of recipe how to make meat soup from Madura. The broth of this meat soup is so light and tasty. So, let try to start cooking meat soup.

Ingredients:
  1. Spare ribs, 500 gram
  2. Water, 1 L
  3. Lemongrass, 2 (sliced)
  4. Orange leaves, 4
  5. Celery, 2 stalks (bundled)
  6. Eggs, 6 (boiled)
  7. Beef stock powder, 1 tablespoon
  8. Salt, 2 teaspoons
  9. Sugar, 1 teaspoon
  10. Oil, 2 tablespoons
 Blended seasonings
  1. Ginger, 4 cm
  2. Turmeric, 3 cm
  3. Onion, 7 (sliced and fried)
  4. Garlic, 5 (sliced and fried)
  5. Candlenut, 5
  6. Salt and sugar
 Complement:
  1. Salty soy sauce
  2. Sweet soy sauce
  3. Sliced of lemon
  4. Chips
 Sprinkle:
  1. Fried onion
  2. Sliced celery
 Spicy dish for meat soup
  1. Red hot chili peppers, 4 (sliced)
  2. Candlenut, 3
  3. Salt and sugar (little bit)
 How to make meat soup
  1. Boil the water in the cooking pan. Pour the meat and cook it until half done. Set aside the meat. Cook the broth with small fire. Chop the meat 2 x 2 x 1cm then set aside.
  2. Prepare frying pan. Pour the oil into frying pan then cook the blended seasoning until smelly and done. Then put the chopped meat into frying pan. Stir it.
  3. Pour the meat into the broth with boiled egg. Add beef stock powder, salt, sugar and celery. Cook the meat until the meat soft.
  4. Put the lemongrass into cooking pan and cover it back. Cook the meat and the broth until done.
  5. Lift the soup and served.
 Steps to make spicy dish for meat soup
  1. Boil all ingredients except salt and sugar.
  2. Strain it then blend all ingredients with sugar and salt.
 Serving meat soup
  1. Strain the egg and slice into two.
  2. Put the chunks of meat in the bowl. Add the egg into the bowl.
  3. Pour with the broth, celery and fried onion.
  4. Meat soup can be served with rice, chips, sweet soy sauce, salty soy sauce, sliced lemon, and spicy dish.
 Tips:
  1. You can replace spare ribs with 200 gram meat.
  2. If you want to minimize the fat of meat soup, after you boil the meat, throw the broth in the surface. Then cook it again.
