Currently in the market, you can find variety of cereal drinking that explained their product as a healthy drinking but when you look deeper, those products still using cereal which it has high glycemic index such as essence of corn, rice, wheat or other dregs of other snack’s products, preservative, simple carbohydrate, and many more. According to this condition, you can make your own a healthy cereal drinking at home so that it will be safer for you and your family member. And here is the recipe how to make cereal drinking.
- Instant oatmeal, 50 gram
- Boiled water, 375 ml
- Cinnamon, 10 cm
- Sugar low calorie, 10 gram
- Almond, 25 gram
- Whey protein, 4 tablespoons
- Cinnamon powder, 1 teaspoon
Direction to make a healthy cereal drinking:
- Soak the oatmeal and cinnamon in the boiled water for about 1 hour. Then set aside the cinnamon.
- Put the oatmeal into blender together with water. Add sugar, whey protein, almond, and cinnamon powder. Blend until smooth.
- Remove the cereal and pour into a glass.
- Cereal drinking is ready to be served. You can keep it in the refrigerator first before you drink so that the taste of cereal drinking will be more delicious.
- If you do not like almond, you can use peanut butter or peanut.
