How to Make Spicy Razor Clams

Razor clams have unique shapes, just like bamboo’s rods and the texture of razor clams are soft and delicious. Besides it contents high protein, razor clams also have sweet and nice taste. In order to make delicious dish, you do not process razor clams too long because the meat of razor clams will be tough. Just cook with big flame and fast so that the meat of razor clams cooked but not tough. You can cook razor clams with simple seasoning. Here is the recipe how to make spicy razor clams.

  1. Razor clams, 500 gram (washed and then boiled)
  2. Red paprika, ½ (chopped elongated)
  3. Green paprika, ½ (chopped elongated)
  4. Leeks, 1 (finely chopped)
  1. Garlic, 5 (chopped)
  2. Onion, 40 gram (sliced)
  3. Salty soy sauce, 1 tablespoon
  4. Spicy sauce, 2 tablespoons
  5. Tomato sauce, 3 tablespoons
  6. Red hot chili pepper, 4 (chopped elongated)
  7. Salt, ½ teaspoon
  8. Sugar, 1 teaspoon
  9. Orange leaf, 2
  10. Lime water, 2 tablespoons
  11. Water, 150 ml
  12. Oil, 3 tablespoons
Direction to make hot razor clams:
  1. Heat the oil in the cooking pan and then sauté garlic and onion.
  2. Pour water, salty soy sauce, tomato sauce, spicy sauce, salt, sugar, orange leaf and cook until boiled.
  3. Add red hot chili pepper, razor clams, lime water, paprika and leeks.
  4. Cook hot razor clams until done. Remove from the stove.
  5. Hot razor clams are ready.
