How to Make Meatball Soup (Bakso, Baso)

Meatball soup
Meatball can be mixed by noodle, vegetables, and other seasonings. In Indonesia, it called as bakso. In this recipe we will use ready noodle. But you also can make noodle before you make this recipe. The key to make meatball soup is from the broth. You have to use beef broth so that the taste of your meatball soup will be tasty. And here is the recipe how to make meatball soup.

  1. Meatballs, 10
  2. Noodle, 200 gram (soaked in the hot water for 4 minutes, then strained)
  3. Green cabbage, 100 gram (chopped finely)
  4. Fried red shallot, 1 tablespoon
  5. Rice vermicelli, 50 gram (poured hot water)
Seasoning of broth meatball soup
  1. Beef broth, 750 ml
  2. Oil, 1 tablespoon
  3. Garlic, 2 (minced)
  4. Red shallot, 2 (minced)
  5. White pepper, 1 teaspoon
  6. Salt, 1 teaspoon
  7. Dried shrimp, 1 tablespoon

Direction to make broth meatball soup
  1. Fry garlic and red shallot for a while in the sauce pan. Remove it.
  2. Then, pour the broth and other seasonings and boiled
Preparations meatball soup
  1. Prepare a bowl. Then put noodle and rice vermicelli into bowl.
  2. Add green cabbage. And pour the broth of meatball soup.
  3. Sprinkle with fried red shallot
  4. Meatball soup is ready
